Assuming we're talking about the upper plenum here: there are several ways, but the quickest is to look for the triangular hole in between and below the front throttle ports. The later cars did not have one.

Also, the '89 is considered later style due to the throttle body changes starting in '89 but won't have the MAP sensor port which 90-92 do. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
