Kinda on the fence about this being that I really can't afford two hobby cars. _________________

I dig the '80, but it is gonna be a lot of work to get it even to the point where it can be painted. You know I'm down to help fix it up if that's what you wanna do, but I'd recommend selling it to help fund the '85. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

I third this! I like the '80 but the problem with having two camaros is your always going to like one more. _________________

I obviously like my 85 more; the 80 was an opportunity to get rid of the Blazer, which I had zero interest in. Also, for some reason, the 80 has better resale value; I guess since there aren't that many running the streets these days. (Since I acquired mine, I've seen maybe 2 and they weren't running.) _________________

I actually have a soft spot for the late second gen styling, in the same way that I have a soft spot for the styling on say a '58 Ford or a '61 Buick.
That said this is a silly poll and I think the results reflect that. |

It was more for fun, and I knew it would be biased...lol, but at the same time, it gives me some ideas. _________________

| As much as I'm a third-gen guy, it'd be nice to see someone take a late 2nd and give it the LS/T56, and restore it. Most people ignore the 77-81 Camaros. |

Well, I washed it, took some pics while it was still wet and put it on CL. I drove it around the block, then I drove the 85 around and the 85 is so much more fun! The 80 is nostalgic and more of a cruiser in my opinion and I like speed and handling better. I guess we'll see what happens. _________________

| Bah it's all opinion on whether they look good or not. I think a bone stock original 79ish Z28 looks awesome with color matched 5 spoke rallys. |
