|
|
Alright, its the week of dyno, so its time to give out all the information so people can get here, and get directions, etc.
My contact info!!!
Friday:
6 PM -- Round Table Pizza, 750 Northeast 181st Avenue, Portland, OR 97230
We have the room there for until 8pm (or later if we need it), this way people can show up as they make it into town. If there are people running late, we will try to head out around 8pm, to get to my place, so if you are getting into PDX after 8pm, you can plan to head to my house.
8 PM -- My house for drinks, hanging out, bench racing and general shenanigans. We have lots of parking, so all will be good. Anyone is welcome to stay at my place, it will be floor space (and the entire house is hard woods), just find a place to crash for the night.
***I can't provide all the beer/snacks people may want. There is a grocery store very close to my house, we can do a big group beer run on they way. If you want something other than beer, you should probably plan to bring it along.
Saturday:
8:30 AM -- DYNO -- Modern Classics Auto Service, 17725 SW Pacific Hwy, Tualatin, OR 97062
We will try to get the first car up on the rollers around 9am. We will go here until whenever we are done. From there we can do lunch(or dinner) and a cruise or whatever.
If you have any questions or need help or directions, or get lost, feel free to contact me.

Its a pizza place and we will be there until at least 8. Show up when you get there. I wanted a centralized place to meet up at as people start getting into town. |

Update for the beer info. I changed my mind, I'm getting a keg to put on tap. I didn't have time to brew my own, but I have been craving getting the kegerator full, so I'm going to get a keg of Hop Works IPA and have that on tap. |

I can probably do that. We'll get there well before 6 leaving at that time. _________________ 92 Camaro

Traffic on I-5 South on Friday afternoon will be brutal until at least Olympia. Also, we will be checking into a hotel when we get there so we will need a bit of extra time. Bridget and I are staying all weekend. |

Guy gets married and now all of a sudden he's too good to sleep on the floor.
Based on past dyno experience, if you book it you can beat rush hour all the way down till about the 'Couve. I forget what time we rolled into Tony's last year but it wasn't that late. Easily before dinner.
Is anyone leaving late Friday or early Saturday? Fedex claims my BMW parts will show up "Friday." Depending on how realistic that is I could make the 2pm meet with ease, or be SOL and riding with somebody that night or the next morning. |

REMINDER:
As a reminder... remember that the dyno day is $60, and Steve can only take CASH that day. So remember to hit the bank and grab some cash before you get there.

We are a nice group of people. We generally let the really drunk folks crash on the couch. You could have just planned to be that guy this year, instead of James. |

I'm usually one of the last ones to sleep so I always get the crappy spots.
One year at Cows I slept in my car. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

After spending a lot of years in that back room at cows.... you might have gotten the best spot. haha, you didn't have to deal with 12 drunk guys snoring in one room. |

As other John once said "I have never heard so many guys snoring so loudly, and I was in the army!"

That's still better than I did, man. I woke up to find that I had slept on the floor in front of the beer tap... I had to wash that sleeping bag several times. |

James is actually staying with us. Besides, we were both that guy last year! |
