So i got a spare gauge cluster from luke with the tach fix done to it and after some drinking last night i decided to do some tinkering with it.

Luke gave it to me because he said the odometer spins backwards... I talked to aaron about it briefly and he said it may be gear alignment but after popping it open the gears arent out of alignment, i did however find a cable that goes from the motor down to a printed circuit board with a 4 pin plug, no identifying marks on it to show which way it plugs in and it will go either way. Do you think its possible that plug was put it backwards? Causing the odometer to spin in reverse? I cant find any info on the subject and idk where to find a diagram that would explain this in detail
On a side not the odometer now reflects my proper mileage Laughing

Any ideas?

This is true, what confuses me though is the odometer is on a stepper setup, how could it run backwards? To get the mileage right I had to skip the left number forward because it had just enough wiggle room to do so and then run it forward by hand but I couldn't rotate it backwards at all, obviously I'm not gonna crank on the thing too hard

Every time I see a 90-92 cluster it's having some sort of horrible problem. You should have kept the old dash. Laughing

Then I would have 90 million wiring issues lol I'm gonna pull my current cluster out of the dash and copy it, the plug actually looks like its supposed to be soldered in, good job gm with cold joints Laughing
