Hello Crew,
I am finally getting my fiberglass wrap-around put on the bird. Before I do I need it prepped and painted. There are also a few storage dings on the fiberglass wing that need to be addressed. I would like to have a professional (or at least a gifted amateur) perform this work, and I am in need of assistance.
Who do you know who does this type of work who is trustworthy? My entire GTA needs new paint, but I can't afford that right now. The paint does not need to match perfectly, or be show quality as whoever paints the whole car (probably in the next two years) will want to redo it anyway; but i see no reason not to get the wing's fiberglass taken care of right the first time. I want someone who will not hold on to the parts for 6 months without doing anything or keep changing the prices around. We have all heard the paint shop horror stories.
Thanks for the recommendations crewbies. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

| I have a good guy here in Cathlamet. Can get you the # if you want it. I had him paint my front bumper cover. He used to run the Ford body shop in longview until the dealership closed the whole shop. |

| Great, Thanks for being Brandon-on-the-spot with that info. (or at least the promise of info). I may be looking to take action on this as early as next weekend if I have found someone by then. |

My boss and he are good friends. He painted our shop truck as a napa truck. Looks awesome. His number is on the back of it. LOL I'd call the boss but he's out of town til wednesday too. I'm not even sure what he called his business and I can't find it in the phone book. It is a real business though and he's a perfectionist. Ask him bout painting your whole car. It's possible Flea still has is number as he got a quote from him for his camaro.
Or you could pay for Chelsea to take an american vacation to paint it. |
