Before I put my front springs back in I might as well replace the rubber that goes on top of spring.

Question: Is there a better design out there other than the rubber ring on the stock suspension? Specifically wondering if a hard cup is available, kind of like the rear suspension. It will be a lot easier to line up and stay in place.

If your rubber is salvageable just tape it on there with electrical tape.

If the rubber is shot I have used a slit heater hose in the past.

I was going to suggest throwing the isolator in the garbage like a normal person would, but I figured that might be ab it much for him. Razz

Why bother with the slit in the heater hose? The hose slipped right over my springs...

This is going to blow your minds but I think slipping heater hose over a coil is genius.

Thanks for the idea.

If you really want to be hardcore about it you could get some oil line from a local hydraulic shop. Much thicker and stronger than heater hose.

I yanked my isolators the first chance I had. They just introduce slop in the suspension.
