That car is fantastic.
Shame it was bought by somebody looking to flip it for the most profit.
If it had been bought by a car guy it would have been towed straight into a shop and torn down. |

I kind of agree with them though about not restoring it. It's a time capsule and as they say its what everybody's trying to build now. Restored its just another 32.
But... as you say.. i'd be fixing that baby up to run on the street at minimum. |

There's a difference between restoring it and turning it into a sheep ratrod.
Right now it's not a time capsule. Restored to it's original condition it would be a time capsule. Right now it's a rusted piece of junk.
There are plenty of car lovers who have bought some crazy-ass one-off thing that was built decades ago and taken the time to build it how it was. Take a look at the SuperDuty Poncho that was bought and restored a few years ago, or the all-Buick GS400 funny car. How about Tom Cobb's roadster still in running/driving condition. If you let things rot away there will be nothing left. This guy is sitting on his high-horse talking about how "it belongs in a museum" while a perfectly salvageable piece of history rusts right into the ground.

| I disagree. It's definatly a time capsule as it sits. Restoring a car erases alot of things. At most I'd get it running and kill the rust. Though the rust won't be an issue in a dry museum anyway. |
