Well its nice out today... So Paul (Twilightoptics) and myself descided a Mt St Helens cruise was in order. We leaving between 2 - 2:30 in case anyone is not at work, and interested in going. Feel free to hit me up on my cell (503-961-2879) if your interested, so we know to wait for someone just in case.
Mike -- you never really have to work as we know, you should take the afternoon off

| Why TPI? That sounds like a huge step backwards. |

I'm all about stepping backwards Hammer man
Seriously, still dealing with some oil smoke issues. About 95% sure that it is the oil control rings but trying to do some less intrusive diagnostic measures prior to pulling the engine and putting new rings in. The TPI manifold swap is designed to just make sure that it isn't an issue with the miniram possibly not sealing on the inside edge. If you remember the dyno I was so fat that I pegged the wide band at 10:1. I am afraid that I washed down the cyl walls and the rings didnt' seat properly. I may be all wet on that one too but we'll see.
Ain't this hobby grand?

Bummer man.
Just think of the education that you are getting though. At least that's the way I look at those things to keep from going postal. |

LOL, that was a great night. It's nights like that which makes us spend more $'s and time than we should in hopes of beating friends. We only got to race once and I got lucky, I know that the outcome will be differant in the future. Now Paul on the other hand beat me like four times and he didn't have to have luck, just kicked my a**. That needs to change soon.
Yeah and I'm also scared of getting spanked at the track by a little 305 with a bad case of the giggles.
Good luck getting the Sled worked out. |
