For sale is a 9Bolt rear end. I do not know what third-gen this is originally from, I bought it from a crewbie who is long gone now. This is a disc brake rear, but it does NOT come with any brakes. This was originaly a factory positraction rear end, however the positraction is intermittent at best, might just need new fluid, might be completely ruined, I have no idea. It does not make any squeals or hums while driving, and there is very little rust. A few years ago the case was sand blasted and painted.

Status of this rear end has changed. I pulled the diff cover today and there was a lot of friction material in the fluid. I pulled the main berring retainers, and I pulled the axles, I put everything back together, but only loosely. This thing will have to be retourqued everywhere.
I have removed all brake hardware as well.
I am going to throw this thing away in two weeks, make me an offer that includes taking it away before then and it's yours. |

If I could get it as far north as castle rock would that sweeten the deal? My mother lives up there, and I will probably be heading up there in the next month or so. |

I cant guarentee that I will be able to make it down. But when you planning on heading up let me know and I will try and make it work. Why did you decide not to use it? |

the Zexel you have, are you talking about the whole axle, housing and all, or just the actual carrier (thing inside the pumpkin that holds the ring-gear)? |
