Back in the day it seemed we all used the same IM programs. ICQ, MSN, AIM whatever and a crew chat seemed pretty redundant. Then along came myspace and facebook etc.. People quit using the old standby's. Now some people use one thing, others use something different, ends up being alot of people you never talk to. Facebook is most universal at the moment I think, but its not for everyone.

Anyway, what I'm wondering is if a chat room on the crew board might be an interesting thing? And Lama man would this be possible?

I would join on occasion but it's got to be a tool that is part of the forum. I don't have any of the popular social websites and don't plan on it. I know, ba humbug and all that jazz but I like my privacy and my computer working good.

Oh, almost forgot.... it's got to work with an iMac.

possible...yes. Would it get used? The thing is, most of us are on the boards at different times, not all at once like in a chat room.

Yup yup

That's the upside of the BBS. The only downside is that dumb sh** that gets posted lasts forever. That's not what you're afraid of, is it B? Razz

I'm a member on a non-car related forum and have been for almost two years and we have a chat there. It's fun, but it really limits the amount of meaningful posts that are created, as everything is discussed in chat.

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents as a noobie Razz
