I really want to go look at it. Wish I knew about it yesterday, I was in Tacoma then.
7500 seems a little steep though, wonder how much for an old Vega though. 1000 maybe?

Oh well, another real cream puff gets away.

It doesn't say its driving. In fact it says the owner is selling because of too many projects. . .like this one maybe?

Exactly.

POS. Worth scrap price for a hippie to fix it up.

Also, what the hell is a '61 Barracuda? Razz

*Edit*
In case you were curious, this is the Nada classic price guide for a '71 Vega wagon:

Runner/driver, needs resto: $2,150
Good runner/older resto: $3,900
Immaculate survivor or fresh resto: $7,100

There are actually five for sale around Seattle right now. However all of them are track cars or V8 swaps or some craziness.

When Paul was searching for a Chevette for that project i stooped and asked a guy who had 4 Chevettes, or so i thought, if he was selling them. I admit i had no idea what they were, i just knew they were small Chevrolet cars. Turns out they were Vega's and Monza's. The guy still has them, i drive by on my way home sometimes.
