Hi guys. I know its been forever since I last posted. But this seemed like the best place to ask a camaro technical question. So, I have a 91 RS that has just the basic eibach lowering springs on it. I installed Bilstein shocks and struts. This is now 5 or 6 years ago. They already seem to be shot. Now, I admit, I use this car as a daily driver, and the struts likely have 60k on them (where does the time go?). My question is, should they already be toast? I'm not hard on the car driving wise. It just seems like they wore out fast. Are they inherently going to wear out sooner due to the car being lowered? I know I'm going to be replacing them, question is, is there anything I should be aware of that maybe I missed the first time?

They do wear out, the seals will eventually on any shock wear.

You might talk to bilstein if you still have the original purchase info, they might replace them for free.

60K strut replacement interval on a lowered daily driver seems pretty dang good to me.

Okay, that is sorta what I was thinking, but thought some extra input couldn't hurt. I think its just because time seems to be flying by these days that it seems so short... a sure sign I'm getting old.
