Alright, so I have a problem. I have an 01 Eclipse that needed a clutch job done. However what we didn't know was that there's clutch fingers laying in the bottom of the bellhousing. Shocked SO, trying to get the transmission out, it didn't come out. Nothing on the outside is holding it in, or catching anywhere. Me, my dad, AND Luke were all working on this thing trying to get it out. prying and prying and no luck. As far as we could get it was passed the flywheel. Shaking and wiggling, still no luck. But we found plenty of fiberglass. Mad And the top of the transaxle where the clutch fork and boot is, the fork is all the way to the back of the slot (or otherwise, disengaged). We read something about releasing the TOB by sticking a flat bladed screw driver in the lower peep hole and "gently" prying between the TOB and clutch fingers. Gently my ass. Still didn't come out with hard prying.

Anyone have an idea about how the hell this thing comes out?

Bigger pry bar?

Thats lame dude. Sounds like the friction plate is stuck on the input shaft. If you can see the input shaft through the slave mount, can you nail it with PB blaster?
