So what's the deal with these things? Every V8 T5 I've come acrossed is priced $400 and up, which is way too much for me. Anybody have ideas on where I can find one for $150 or less? |

Unless you find one with broken internals, or someone who took over an estate with a ton of car junk, what you're asking for is not likely to happen. |

Man I'm hoping to find a good one for under 600 right now, honestly a rebuild is the most reasonably priced option at this point _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

At my local LKQ, manual transmissions are $135 + core. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

LKQ is a junkyard chain in the PDX area.
Most junkyards have pretty cheap manual transmissions if you get in there before they are gone. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

this is usually the case with the V8 T-5's.
That being said, I do have a NWC T-5 I'd be willing to part with for $400. |
