After changing fuel pump and installing adjustable regulator, may car seems to run pretty good. I adjusted the tables according to EBL utility for fuel pressure. Before idle after starting was fine, but would be on the low side at stop lights. Now same story after starting, but at stop lights it wants to idle around 1500 until I blip the throttle, then it settles to around 1000. Where in the fueling tables should I go to get my idle down? _________________ 92 Camaro

Figured it out, not tuning at all. Just so happened that when I installed the adjustable regulator, I had to disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose to get access to the fuel line fittings. When I reconnected it, I routed it over top of the cruise cable on the throttle bracket, with the air cleaner in place, it put pressure against the cable. I rerouted the vacuum line under the cable and no more problems |
