| So I bought some headers but after measuring I believe they are for a v6. With that said, will they still flow better then the stock manifold for a 305?? |

Most header flanges have 1 1/2" openings but the tubes are 1 5/8".
What brand are they? ..... _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| I don't know brand. No markings. They just seem tiny compared to headmans I had but never installed. |

Tube diameter is measured on the outside of the tube. If it is 1/16 inch thick material then you have 1.5" + 1/8" = 1.5/8" primary tubes.
I think a pipe is measured on inside diameter and the exhaust tube is considered a pipe. If you want something to keep you busy for a very long time then you can try to figure out the difference between a tube and a pipe. |

Don't need no fancy engineerin' for that, Jon. Things go inside of a pipe and outside of a tube. |
