We used to have a couple similar to that in the mid 70's. Pretty much an auto trans. To start the motor, the foot brake was pumped to wind a spring which was released by the lever on the handlebar (same place as normal clutch). About 25mph tops around town Cool

Hehe it is. Just watched the South to North Vietnam on a tiny bike episode of Top Gear. I think the CT50 is a little more prevalent. This one is a 4 speed auto. Kick start. Tons of parts available for it too. I've got a cylinder coming, and going to go with the big bore piston that puts it from 89cc to 104cc. There's a performance camshaft, and put the carb on from a CT110 and it'll do about 60mph.

I also found a conversion from the CL90 which is stupid simple to convert it to a manual shift.

Should have a two speed also, high and low. Bet it will do 60mph, eventually. My sister has several of those that her kids tear around on.

It does have a High/Low range "sub transmission" they call it lol.

People I've read that have done the big bore, carb, cam say it still pulls pretty good in high 4th gear. Stock they say doesn't pull at all in 4th.

Drivetrain sounds an awful lot like their ATC's.

I like this version of the song. Though the Beach Boys has a much better vid!

The ATCs and the CL90's are all pretty similar. Some of the motor parts don't swap though.
