I came home today to a nicely packaged brown box with my name on it...
My crystal smoked turn signals and sidemarkers arrived. they look pretty dang good in person too. I was a bit hesitant to order them because I have never seen what they look like in person compared to the crystal clears but I am more than happy with my decision. I can't wait to install them. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

Alright, so I got around to installing the lights after work today. It was pretty straight forward and easy. Examining the new parts I did notice that they are not perfect. The front turn signals have a small blemish at the bottom of the lense and both the side markers Nd turn signals leave a small gap when installed. Hardly noticeable but worth noting. With that said I think they look 1000x better. I snapped a few pics for your entertainment.

And they're cheaper to replace than the smoked lights too, I bet. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Actually not really, normally the hood struts raise and hold up nice and firm. I think the cold weather is affecting them a bit. They seemed a bit sluggish and soft with the hood raised today. Better safe than sorry. I've had 20lb hoods collapse on me, no way I'm chancing it with a 60lb hood. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I prefer the split diffuser on the stock lights, but those look good against your black car. I either need to get some new ones for my 89, or try the dremmel method to take them apart and clean the inside of the lenses (mine are nite-shaded). _________________ 92 Camaro

Those look really sharp, but they kinda make your stock fog lights look dull by comparison. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

I agree. The ultimate plan is to do an FX-R projector retrofit, pilot fog lights, and LED tail lights. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

| They look great. But like anything new you put on your car, it makes the older stuff look... old. Always hate putting my old trim back on a new paint job. |

Tint the stock fogs for now and you're set. Looks sharp. Unique. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
