If you take this short survey on Facebook you can print out a coupon for $10 off. I used it today when I picked up a dash pad.

I have two computers, so I actually did two surveys. Gonna go to the north Portland yard tomorrow and see what I can find to use my $10 on Wink

With the prices they charge now at pick-n-pull you need to have about $20 off to get a good price on anything, the prices are way to high now, they wanted to charge me about $45 for a AC delete heater box, I told them they could keep it, they said they have to charge me for the motor and the box seperate, they charged me $10 for a shift plate, they wanted $32 for a pair of used speakers, I told them they could keep them also.

I was at the north portland yard today, there is a 84 firebird that has a edelbrock intake manifold on it and a hurst automatic shifter, it also has the cowl induction hood with all the stuff still atached to the hood. I got the chrome edelbrock valve covers off it today, they charged me $20 for them , that was about the best deal I have got from them in the last couple of months.
There are about 7 or 8 3rd gen cars at the sherwood pic-n-pull.

Prices at Pick-N-Pull have doubled or tripled lately. They also have started billing for "cores" on almost any metal items. Rolling Eyes

And don't forget the ENVIROMENTAL FEE they charge on every thing.
The 84 bird that I got the edelbrock valve covers from had a non A/C heater box in it, I did not pull it, That is the first time I have ever left one in the yard, they want $19 just for the box without the motor.

Yeah, forgot about that BS. Up here the environmental fees are equal to the sales tax.

Well unfortunately they are about my only option here. I've found some amazing stuff now and then. I guess if we want the parts bad enough we will pay the price for them.

I think I'll take a run out there tomorrow morning. They have another vehicle that may have parts for my "other Z" Wink

Damn, I just made a trip to the Sherwood Pick-N-Pull yesterday. This couple could have come in handy. I'll be going back next week anyway. I'm going to pick up a jeep Cherokee steering shaft to swap in.
