Why not this one? Might as well if you are going non-adjustable.

Your fan switch has to be set higher then your thermostat temp, or the fan will run forever.

I meant one other than the one he wanted. That style seems better.

That last one posting seemed like a good deal and turns on fan early, but I would think that with only ten degrees of seperation if would pretty much be running consistantly

Radiator probe is nowhere near as accurate as a thread-in.

The difference in degrees doesn't really enter into it. All of them are 10-15* difference.

Looks like the right part, but be very careful with the connector. Al and I have both had those pop on connectors fail.

I agree about the probe not being as accurate as a thread in one in the cylinder head. I'm using this switch from Hayden. It takes a little work to put in, especially if you have two fans. It can't handle both fans, so I have this switch turn on a 75 amp bosch relay. Works perfectly and the adjustability is great. I hook my scanner up and watch the engine temp and just set the fans to come on exactly when I want them to.

I know, I am a little late to the party here. I just finished installing this in my car.

http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performance-Products/JEGS-Electric-Fan-Wiring-Harness-Kits/758607/10002/-1

Easy install and wired it right into my thermostat housing. I got the on at 200 off at 185 for my 180 stat.

Just thought I'd mention that I thought I found a nice low temp switch.. 205 on 190 off..

Then I installed it and it comes on just over 220.. wtf? So I look it up again to see about ordering another one, but this time I look in the computer info about the switch. There it says the on temp is in the range of 204-224! LOL I guess they covered their asses with that.

No.. you want the on/off temps to be above your thermostat temp. Otherwise the fan would never kick off at all.

Your ECU doesn't completely go into closed loop until 176*F. If you're running cooler than that your cars not going to be running the best that it can, unless you've gone in and edited all your values.
