Anybody know how to weld stainless steel and have a tig welder to do it? My neighbor that lives behind me need to drill a hole and weld a tap into a stainless steel kettle that is used in making home-made beer. He'll trade lotsa beer (really good by the way) and or cash for services. Preferrably from the Puget Sound region. _________________

I used to qualify welders to work on high pressure vessle repairs / fabrication back in the day. Anyone who could stick weld in the 6G position had a job for a long time. |

I never got into the pipe welding. 6G is a royal pain. Much more enjoy the cleanliness of TIG too.
Who be in which area? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
