It's the autometer full pillar. But it uses the original "trim" piece or "pillar" if you will.... to attach to. It's like a cover basically. That's what they mean by "full pillar gauge pod."

I'll buy this. I'll take the brake proportioning valve, too, if you have it. My car was a rear drum brake car and I need to balance out the brake line pressure.

will the 6AL work with a coil-n-cap HEI? if so, I think I'll take it. Do you have any extra RPM limit pills? if so what are they?

Think all I've got is the 7000rpm limit it has in it.

I would assume it works with a coil in cap, but I'm not sure. I'll have to look at the instructions.

It will work.. you just unplug the harness from the cap, and hook the msd between it. MSD has a harness to make it easy if you want too. If you do this make sure you buy a low resistance center cap electrode. The extra power will burn the carbon type electrode out and melt the cap.

so there's the 3 wire, the Batt and Tach plugs.. what and where do I need to splice? Also if Paul's got instructions, that'll be a huge help, it'll probably be pretty evident too.

I think I'll go for it. Paul, you have a PM.

Instructions are all available on msd's site as well. 2 ways to hook it up. 1: take the signal off the ignition module to the msd, then the trigger wires hook to the coil. Power wire is disconnected from the coil, but I think has to be hooked up to the module. OR the better way..

Unhook the original ignition module. Hook the pickup wires directly to the MSD and the coil wires from the msd to the incap coil. No power wire is needed at the distributor.

Their instructions will give you more detail. The 2nd way is how I have the pontiac hooked up.. except I got an external cap adapter and moved the coil out of cap.
