"Light Machine Grey." I figure it's a Chevy, and this way I can see everything that inevitably leaks out of it.

Either way it's an improvement from before...

Looks like it has a big crack in it and probably needs replaced.

Engine bay looks good. I used to see a lot of that color with my last employer

 I'll bet.

Don't worry about that. The entire exterior will be gloss black.

				| Good start, what's next Aaron?
On a completely unrelated note, I like working with engines. And wiring. And electronics.

Also absolutely not related in any way whatsoever, Cows is pretty soon. I'll let you put the pieces of the puzzle together.

That's all fine and good until you're messing around with something and happen to have dirty hands
My white engine bay isn't that white anymore. _________________

That was actually my goal here, Chris. I originally shot the thing gloss black, but then I sanded it down and went with the high-gloss grey. I figure I'll see everything easier, and it's easier to clean.

 Scrape off crud
Spray with degreaser (I used 409, but the Purple stuff or oven cleaner would have been better)
 Hose out
Sand with 120 on areas with flaking/rust, sand the rest with 220
 Degrease again
Hose out again, let dry overnight under fans
Spray with brake cleaner, let dry
2 coats primer about 10mins apart
 2 coats color the same

I'm not a painter, but it worked, so...
