Alright, so im driving along, and only when taking off and sometimes turning corners, a theres a type of grinding noise in the front end. I think it sounds like the exhaust flanges moving or hitting something. I have the doughnut gaskets put it. And with the studs for the collectors, if you try turning them without holding the top bolt, they'll spin, but if you put a wrench on the top and spin from the bottom its really difficult to turn. Too short of bolts? or something else? Confused

Sounds like wheel bearing. Or something else. Turning corners wouldn't indicate exhaust.

Find an empty parking lot with a brick wall or building or something and drive slowly next to it in varying circles at varying speeds and in a straight line.

Listen for the noise and you should be able to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from, and when it happens.

Could be ball joints, a wheel bearing like Paul said, tire dragging on the fender liner, something hitting the steering linkage, who knows.
