i had to take the wideband out, but i powered it using the accessory wire off the ignition, i had this problem for about a week or so now, its happened like 4 times, and it happened before the wideband was put in _________________

no i havent, bulbs are still the same ones as when i got the car 3 years ago
would having dirty contacts on the brake lights cause them to blow the fuse when i turn on the hazards?
i didnt know they were connected _________________

| That's a good question. I don't have a schematic in front of me but the light issues seem to be fixed by cleaning sockets and making sure the right bulbs are in there. |

If it doesn't do it with just turn signals its related to the hazard wiring. Take out the fuse and trace the short to ground. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

If you take a volt meter and put it on the load side, not the power in to the fuse..... and the other lead to ground.... you'll have continuity if there is a short. There should be some as the bulbs are grounded. So what you'd want to do, is start unplugging harnesses and or bulbs so isolate harnesses. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
