Casa Diablo....no need to even put any thought into it, or have a discussion. |

Back in my "misspent" youth...................long...............long.............long time ago after racing we would go to the Dancing Bear in north Portland. I'm not even sure it still exists now, but as a "youngster" it was a fun place.
Just don't tell Zahara I mentioned this
I'll be planning my bachelor party and wedding soon myself. _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

The D'Bare is still there right next to Paul Bunyon. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I have been to Mary's, acropolis, diablo, and possibly others () but the acrop takes the cake. I've been told that the dancing bare is not so good. And by not so good, the dancers are bad. Diablo has good dancers but its really small, one tiny bar, and kinda skank. The layout at Mary's was nice and the dancers were good too. Acrop may be a bot of a drive, but awesome steak, 21 something beers, and three separate stages. |

Mary's is great for it's historical significance, it's the oldest one still running, and it's not a bad bar. You can't go wrong at Cabaret either. On the east side I'd say Safari Club at like 32nd and Powell but... The Acropolis, as mentioned, is the best. That's where all the celebrities have to go when they come to Portland and I've enjoyed many fine steaks there myself. The girls are top notch also. _________________ '91 Firebird - LO3, 700R4, 2.73 gears

Dancing Bare is definitely low cost low quality.
I was pretty okay with the Dolphin II _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

One more vote for Acrop. Good chicks, good brew selection, Win/win.
Devils Point isn't too bad on the right nights. Union Jack's is another, but It can be hit-or-miss.
Sassy's is pretty good too. _________________
