Suspension...
Front: So when you lower a car it throws the sway bar out of peak alignment. You can shorten the endlinks a bit to help in the horizonal alignment. But it still makes the endlinks cocked at a slight angle in vertical alignment. Has anyone welded the enlink holes shut on the a-arm, and re-drilled new holes? Improvment worth its effort? Thinking of doing this when I add GW bushings. As well maybe some extra bracing like I have seen a few ppl do.
Rear: Ive shorted the endlinks as much as I can....Actually needing to add some thickness to the axle pad/mount. Any good ideas.....If you add to much, the ubolts arnt long enough. Ive rotated the axle pads to help in the vertical alighnment via Deans suggestion(for the ones who know who Dean is). But this actually made the situation worse again.
Exhaust....
Been wanting dyno don headers for a year now. Never knew TDS sold them for him tell today. Even Don himself didnt tell me I could order via TDS with a credit card But anyway, I am needing to know what the thread pitch/size are for the smog tubes as I am wanting to hook up my egr to that now that I have egr-less ported heads. Any idea, I know I looked last year and couldnt get an exact number. _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

Didn't do anything to my endlinks.
Unless you're a pro driver, I bet you can't tell. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| All i did on my end-links, was trim a little where needed so that I had zero preload on the bars. |

I have had Dyno Don do some work for me before. he soldered up the filler neck on the 92 gas tank in the 86 firebird. did one hell of a job.
it does not surprise me that lon carries his stuff, they live only a few miles apart and seemed prety chummy the last time i saw them (2009 cruse to big bear). i have also both boaght from and sold to Lon Salgren of top down solutions and i can say that in my experiance he is a top notch business person. |

yea, I bought from TDS ALOONNNGGG time ago. Very good service. Also have asked him a few questions on tgo and gave me a good answer.
Had asked don a few questions on tgo and was very brief. He also didnt take credit cards, so its hard for me to save up the kinda change needed for the headers. Also not overly happy about sending someone i dont know a money order for that kinda money too. Although I see nothing but good recommendations about him. |
