I have one LS1 axle for sale.

The Auburn in this one still works most of the time, but every once in a while around a corner it doesn't like to lock both tires. I was gonna change the fluid and see if it gets better, but I do not have the motivation to do so anymore. So I am selling it as possibly worn out.

3.23 GM gears, 28-spline axles
LS1 brake setup including drum-style parking brake
Auburn posi
4-channel ABS brake lines
19-ish mm swaybar
New axle and carrier bearings about 20k miles ago, pattern checked at the same time
Comes with extra TQ arm and steel driveshaft!

Crewbie price: $140

$220 with my spare Zexel-Torsen included. Simply swap the ring gear onto the new carrier, stick it in and pattern check it, then rock and roll!

I want to see you driving away with my axle sticking up out of the back of your vert. I would chuckle a little bit. Laughing

Laughing I would too. When I sold my spare t56 I delivered it in the passenger seat of the bird. He was confused when I arrived until he walked up to the car. Smile

We're a go. Now I'm just wondering how I get it. I'm envisioning taking the passenger seat out. Very Happy

I got a rear axle in my car with the pass seat still in. It was not easy, but is doable. With the convertable, just seatbelt that bad boy in the pass seat, and put a hat on it. Bonus points if you get a picture of you in the carpool lane!

Shocked I wonder if I can get the harnesses on it.

How dirty is this thing, Gabe?

I took my passenger seat out and put my roll away bottom box in and took it to work with me Wink

It's standard dirty of DD duty. It's got plenty of stuff on it, but not like anything caked on. I half-heartedly washed it 20k ago when I put it in. I dunno how best to describe... Confused

I have big trashbags we can use to cover the dirty bits. And a box to put the things full of brake fluid in. We're set! Very Happy

When? Sunday? Next week? Tonight?

Sunday morning work for you? I have a feeling I work at noon so I could get up a bit early and run out there. Where are you again?

So, it started hailing as soon as I left your house. I can't imagine the looks on peoples faces as I'm cruising down I5 with an axle sticking up in the passenger seat and two big ass tires in the back. Laughing Thanks again!

I didn't remember to take a picture until after I got the diff out of the car. I didn't want gear oil over the passenger seat (even with trash bags it was dripping a bit too much)

So here's a picture of a camaro while I was waiting. Very Happy

Or the duo...

Nice pics Ian!

I don't fault the lack of axle pictures, it was thundering and hailing and raining when Ian drove away. Laughing

I was gonna grab my Nikon and take a picture of him pulling away all loaded up, but I was too slow. Sad
