Does anyone know how the head rest on a Firebird seat comes off?
I got a couple replacement seats that look great but my original headrests are in better condition, so I want to swap them. _________________

If they're similar to Camaro seats, just slip something long and flat down the front of the headrest post. That should release the locking mechanism and the headrest should slide right out. I used a hacksaw blade and slid it down in there to release the lock. _________________ 92 Camaro

I'll give it a shot and let you guys know. On another note, its really nice to be sitting on a seat that isn't all broken down! The previous owner of my car must have been a big guy because the new seat sits a good inch or two higher! lol _________________

| Dang I've tried and tried on both seats with a cheap saw blade and can't get it out, it came about half way once. then for some stupid reason I put it back in and I can't even get it that far now. should it be this tough? |
