Some pics of my progress on replacing the quarter panel on my 74 formula.
The donor:
Partially cut out:
New panel welded in and some patches done.
Smeared some bondo on the seam tonight. Be sanding that next. |

Some fresh progress. There may be some green looking spots.. It appears wind and rain kicked up some dirt last night. It washes off. No block sanding going to happen before dyno.. and it needs it terribly.. There's ALOT of body work needing to be done yet on most every panel. But with it in primer now I can just pick a panel and work on it when I feel like it. Oh.. and one big plus... it's no longer red! (actually was my first and only red car, maybe it will be again someday)

Everyone knows red is for trucks.
Going black on this one B, or another blue one? |

| Going without paint on this one. LOL If it ever does get painted it will probably be red. But this is kind of reliving the old days with my primered chevelle. There's alot less things to worry bout when you're in primer. |

Glad to see some progress on that thing! I never had the time or money to work on it when I owned it. It just sat in my garage. _________________ '91 Firebird - LO3, 700R4, 2.73 gears

And I think he means "black", not "back", right? _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6
