I have two bolts that connect the adapter bracket to the spindle. One is a lower profile bolt with an alan wrench head. The other is a standard hex headed bolt. Which bolt is used on the top and bottom?
Did you guys also keep the steering stop or the dust covers? From what I have been reading these are both optional modifications.
Thanks for the help

i started with bolts you have, but ended up with some grade 8 hardware from Tacoma screw, cause of thread differences, lenghts, etc... do a quick mock up and u will undersrtand..
I used the dust covers, cut and modified to fit. and had to cut stops off as well...
I used red loctite on all screws, torqued to"tight + a little" LOL
for my 16" lace GTA rims I had to had a spacer for everything to work..

I don't remember which bolt went where but I can check tomorrow. I modded my dust covers to keep them (basically they're just seal protectors now, I cut off the shield portion) and I did not modify my steering stops at all. _________________

Mock everything up on the bench. You'll find out what doesn't fit where. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
