I just bought an 11 second 2000 Z28 with a 6.0L iron block LS engine and 6-speed manual. Engine has about 2000 miles. There's nothing wrong with this car, but it is destined to breath new life into my '89 Firebird. Ladies and gentlemen, after hibernating for 13 years there will be a loud rumble from my red 'Bird this summer.
The big block is going to be sold, along with all the other parts I have that won't be used for the LS swap. |

It was inevitable.
Are you going to attempt to sell the 4th gen as a roller shell, or part it out? |

Yes, I'm afraid for now you have the only big block. You'll just have to settle for bragging rights all by yourself. You're more than welcome to have first shot at anything from my big block, though. I have the custom made Lemons tri-y headers that dump by the tranny, the B&M 177 supercharger, a March billet aluminum serpentine pulley system, MSD 6AL BTM with rev limiter chips (I think it was a dual rev limiter), PA Racing adjustable coil overs with big block drag springs, Spohn TKO trans crossmember & adjustable torque arm with relocator kit, brand new GM motor mounts, and who knows what else. It's been so long that I'll have to take inventory again to remember what is packed away on my shelves. I already sold the Aeromotive fuel pump and Holley injection system.
I'd rather sell the Z28 as a roller but I may be forced to part out. I want the front brakes for my car so I'm thinking the roller idea won't work too well with so much stuff missing. |

I hadn't thought about it but maybe I should. It's pretty easy to sell a forged short block. Not so easy to sell a long block with oval port heads.
PM me if you want the heads. They are 336781 castings (the desirable oval ports) with nice valves & springs, 1.7 roller rockers, and hefty pushrods. I was told they have mild porting on the exhaust side. Rockers have never been tightened down. I can take off a cover and send you a photo. |

What kinda shape is the Z28 in?
Sounds like that roller would make an awesome drag project! _________________

You remember I live in Illinois, right?
The 4th gen is a nice car with leather and T-tops. Not a wrecked car. The body will be great. |

| The price might be right. I've seen what people charge for rollers and I think it is insane. I plan to go quite a bit less to get rid of it quick. |
