And I have no idea what amount of time we will have on the rollers, but would it be possible to do jet changes? I would like to take the opportunity to tune my carb a little.

I have a Holley kit with accelerator cam's, squirters, etc. Don't have any jets though I can offer up. Should I bring it, or are you covered there dude?

Any kits would be super. I think I'm idling a little rich bit its really smooth. Starts right up without a pump shot. I have 71/80 jets right now but that's all I have.

Wohoooo... Counting down.... I really should start cleaning the house a bit. I just now got the camaro back up and running. (all she needed was a new battery..but that takes me a week).

See ya all either this afternoon, tonight or tomorrow. Drive safe on your way here everyone!

I can pull the jets out of the extra DP I have. IIRC I have 62/74 jet combo on the extra one, so I don't think that will feed your BBC sufficiently. Nonetheless, I'll bring my kit to dyno, and you can ruffle through and take whatever ya need.

Oh come on, I just did a 600 mile round trip for a car cruise last Saturday. 100 miles is nothing.

Brandon (chevymad) came 100 miles. Travis (Blue89) came 100 miles. The boys from up north came further than that.

Do it!

Very Happy

Aside from the motor breaking on the rollers, I had a good time.

I found what I think the problem was after arriving home. I thought the old fan motor gave out, when in fact the sender wire had disconnected from the switch, car overheated during the run and apparently spun a bearing or two. I wasn't watching the gauges like I should have, instead I was watching the dyno monitor. Now it's time to put the plan in motion a little sooner and start the search for a 350/383 roller cam motor.

Ya shame about the motor, Al. Good luck w/ your quest for a new powerplant.

Luckily I'm only an hour or so away from you, and you're coming to get that berlinetta soon. Cable will come with. Smile
