Anyone know how to repair a leaking brake booster?
Or is it replace only.
Thanks!

Replace only.
Which rig needs a booster? I think Mike's extra from the black gta is laying in my barn. |

7. If I hit the brakes from about 30 in gear on to a stop it tries to die at the stop. If I let off and put in neutral and let the revs come down it stablizes fine.
Definitely vacuum leak. If I richen the carb up it's okay, but milage goes to shizzle. About 400rpm difference when first pushing on the brake at an idle.
Thought maybe since there was a core for them, there might be a repair. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

The do remanufacture the things. But you can't buy anything to do it with.. You can see the 2 halves are latched together. You can bend the tabs and open it up. Diaphram is what usually splits. That will be sandwiched in there. No idea where you could get a new one.
Was hoping it would be something gm. Besides Mike's i've got several others that might have worked. |
