I know i probably asked this before but I will be buying them this week and installing them in class. Are the kyb grII's work good for my bird with the progressive drop springs I bought from Mr Schultz ????

My KYB struts work awesome with my hotchkis springs. I'm sure their are better ones out there, but these are lightyears better then the monroe's that were on mine.

I ran the KYB GR2's on my IROC with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. I was quite pleased with the ride for the price. I'm sure you could do a lot better, but not for how cheap they were.

also need to figure this out, going to redo the brakes an need new shocks/struts/springs around january. Im looking to lower her an inch, no more though.

aftermarket most defintly, trying to see if replacing the shocks/struts and springs will help the kinda bouncy ride the car has, plus I would like an little better stance.
So is there only shocks/struts in the front and none in the rear but theres springs on all four corners correct?

Going just get kyb gr2's but im not sure about springs, probaly what you did, the eibach pro kit, but damn there 219 at summit, is there any place cheaper that has them?

Bounciness/rebounding is from crappy struts. The car has struts in the front, shocks in the rear. Aftermarket springs give a nice ride, but are kinda pricey compared to a nice grinder. Wink

I was happy with my $200 Eibach's though.

Its hard to describe the ride its just kinda bouncy and rough, but of course its not driven enough though to know for sure. But I would still like to replace them to be sure anyhow.

for the front or rear? If there for the front what do I need for the rear or vise versa.

Also is there any other small, cheap suspension parts I should replace while im doing the springs and whatnot?

Is the front sagging? If not, I doubt you need new springs.

Shocks and struts are also sold as a single piece, not in pairs, so the price you see can be doubled.

from what I can tell, no the front doesnt appear to be sagging.

All im trying to do at this point is to get the car street legal and safe, im getting the exhuast put on and then also getting new calipers/rotors/pads.

So for now should I just replace the shocks/struts and not the springs?

And can I get old but barely used rotors re surfaced or is it better to just replace?

so 40 bucks for shocks and 100 bucks for struts give or take an buck?
