Hello,
Names Chelsea, just found you guys through a random search on thirdgen.
I live up in the okanagan, with my two girls.
Im currently an Automotive painter, and Birds are my love. Owned 4 so far, currently still have 2. First car was an 84 2.8 5spd, parents sold it due to rust and got me a 87 2.8 auto with T-tops. Had that one for 4 months, sold it for my current GTA, good move I think  And just picked up my 78 a year ago.
First is my 87 Trans am GTA. 305 T5.
Done a little work to her, cut out my cat in favor of a straight pipe. Put in a Borla 3" catback with a 3" electric cutout, and hooker ceramic headers and Y-pipe. Also have an Airfoil, and a K&N CAI.
Car is a custom red colour, with black licorice dual stripes.
Done a whole bunch of other little things to it too, but meh details lol
She runs a 9.6 at 75mph in the 1/8th at Osoyoos, best time so far, but not nearly fast enough.
Thinking this winter im going to get the heads ported, maybe a new cam, while i collect the last of the parts for my Holset build.
PS all my GTA badges (now black thanks to BF's xmas prezzy  ) are back on the car

2nd baby
1978 Trans am, 6.6T/A. Gold bird, numbers matching 2nd owner 130,000 miles on it. Interior is mint, 8 track still works (got Lynard Skynard - free bird for it ) Exterior...well needs work. Alot of it. Still runs and drives, runs clean no puff or anything. Been off the road since 1990, (sad story). Resto soon to commence.

James and I swapped the T/A wheels onto it and drove it around a bit on Saturday. Just needs the new chip.

Im just glad to find a new active club, I was in one on the Island and i got to watch that club die sadly. But I moved up to the Okanagan anyways, and kinda miss the 3rd gens, been hanging with turbo Dodge guys lol

Well if you can find it on another car I will seriously give you 100 bucks lol! I picked it from my chips and cannot find what it is off of. Thought it was a toyota colour but cant find anything even close. Its almost like the Dodge Ram red, but not quite. It has more copper and bronze pearls in it. Thats why I always just say red, cause im not sure what it actually is.

But her nose looks flat for some reason..
Welcome, and beautiful cars! Even the 2nd gen(potential!) Is it a real pontiac or an olds? I too have a car from both gens. Both of mine are formula's though. 87 and a 74.
It will be nice to have a real painter here! Watch out for some of these guys begging paintjobs(maybe even me) I've done all of my own but i'm just a hack. So it will be awesome to pick your brain sometimes.
One thing.. Every painter I know is just a slight bit nuts.. must be the fumes.. If so you'll probably fit in even better.  |

88 Shelby Z eh? Your site got stalked lol But you have a 2 piece intake on it though, nice choice its the desirable one. Ya ever need help with that one, let me know lol The guys here can change a head gasket in 2 hrs flat ahahah. They know that car Inside and out, and then some.

My GTA's nose is flat? grrr... total sore spot for me, haha. I want an entirely new front end, Bumper, fenders, and hood from an OEM car, I have cheap shitty jobber parts on there right now, and the nose did sink because the shop that fixed my car hacked it. (before i was in the industry) Hey, thats one thing anyone have a parts car with a clean front end where everything lines up, ill trade ya a paint job for it
And my gold girl is a true Pontiac through and through, its the 400 T/A
And I dont mind helping with paint stuff at all, I like helping other 3rd genners. As for the paint jobs, If i ever get set up i can cut deals Otherwise might be able to help with parts and smaller stuff as is.
And ya, I think its a prerequiste or something that you must be nuts to be a painter lol I havent been doing it that long though, so Im only 1/2 way there
