So we've had several of these at my dealership but I've never really taken any pictures of them so I decided to snap a few. You brake lovers will love this one:

Damn those are huge! These are the same brakes that the Ferrari Enzo uses on the front. Oh wait. Yeah that's right. Chevy put those on the REAR of the ZR1...

Now this is what they use up front...

To put these into perspective those rotors have the same diameter as the WHEELS on stocks IROC's.

And yes, I did get to take it for a test drive Very Happy

Jesus christ! When that pic first came up, I momentarily thought you had taken a picture of a clutch disk or something. Rolling Eyes

You best have deeeep pockets. Last I checked, these brakes cost no less than $12,000.

Meeee too... I wonder if the ctsv uses similar non ceramic rotors?

Retail, yes. However, actual cost (unless it's changed in a few months) is really only a few hundred dollars per caliper and I think it was $1200 per rotor? Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but not 12k. Smile

Ooooooh. Is that also what they charge for the z07 package or whatever on the Z06? (ZR1 brakes/suspension). I guess I'm out of the loop on what cars are going for nowadays. Laughing
