Those who have done it, how do yo do the inside of the car. In this rewire project I'm helping (or doing ), Jesse has the delete box under hood, but still has the A/C vent controls inside. I was going to pull a vent control today and found that the non A/C controls operate cables, and the full on A/C controls operate a vacuum manifold. This tells me the box under the dash is different too, because the blend doors are operated differently. _________________ 92 Camaro

You leave the inner box alone, Al, unless you're doing a full delete like I am on my Z. In that case you need to strip the interior and replace the entire HVAC system.
For the wiring, just plug the four-wire heater harness into the old A/C resistor (if you have it) and ground the fifth wire to the tab on the motor chassis. |

Mine I left the inside alone. Outside, I made my own ac delete box out of fiberglass that houses the ac style blower motor and ac spring sensor looking thing.
Its not pretty, but it does the job. _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

| Thanks, this isn't for me (I'm keeping mine). The delete box is already installed in the engine bay, I was trying to figure out the controls and wiring. |
