Anyone here ever seen or sat in these seats? They are much cheaper than Corbeau's. They are $209.95

Are they local or online?

I've looked at the corbeaus and they are just too much for me to justify. especially since they only sell them in pairs now. $1000 is just too much to spend on myself for a b-day present.

Online.

Go to frrax.com (he is a sponser, i have become more and more active on the site, its geared toward road racers and auto-x'ers, Sam Strano who runs strano parts, is the national ESP champ this year, he posts the seat deal every month, it is a 1 day only deal though.) or stranoparts.com

Ok, found the site but no seats are listed.

Does he just list the seat on sale one day, or are they on the site full time and only on sale one day per month?

That seat looks GREAT though!

Edit: You have to buy seat tracks for em though.

I definatly dig! I need to do something, mine are horribly uncomfy, tearing, a track is broken, and no harness holes!

Ok, have done some searching on the summit seats on TGO and have found that they look killer in the car, but are a royal PIA to mount. And someone said that they cracked and split open in a very short time.

I found a Corbeau seat model TRS for $299 here. Shipping is only $7.95 and the bracket is $65. So around $370 total.

I've also found out that most places sell Corbeau's in sets only. I'll probably end up getting a second one, but that's a big hit at one time.

If I could find 4th gen black or black leather with power and the inflatible lumber support, I'd probably got that way. But all I've found are in egypt and are $650 plus shipping of $120 each. Would rather have Corbeau's for that price.

Dan, he may not list them on the site.

the last day of every month, Corbeau sends him a 'special offer' he posts it on frrax for the members there to use. you would have to check that site, then call him, and let him know that is the deal you want. technicly he is not supposed to give people that price, so he cannot put it on his website. Kinda lame it is a 1 day only thing. But if you save $50 a seat, not a bad deal.

Well the Fornza seat doesn't look like it reclines, and that's why I wanted to go with the TRS seats and brackets.

I'll call and see if he can get them for me.

on the 31st , it will be a diffrent seat. basicly he is passing a 1 day deal the Corbeau offers to him, on to the public.

I would give him a call, Ask for Sam Jr. He is a great guy to talk to, and of course a avid f-body motorsport guy.

I just talked to him and he's a little higher than the link I posted, but the extra $20 might save me big $$$ if the other place is a sham store front operation, or sells my CC info to someone like happened to me before.

And he may be interested in buying my brake kits and strut mounts also. So, if I decide to go Corbeau's, I'll go with him.

Thanks for the heads up John.

Always looking out for the crewbies when I can.

I didn't even think of you doing a deal with brakes and mounts with him. I didn't think your deal with Steve would let you. He would be a great guy to work with, since quite a lot of the CMC/AI and Auto-X folks like to deal with him.
