... we (Coca-Cola workers of Teamsters Local 117) are on strike. This sucks so bad! Bridget and I were in the process of filling out an application on a house we want to rent (which would have meant a 2 car garage for me) when we got the news. Luckily I have a nice little nest egg saved up. Hopefully I won't have to live off of it for too long and can start saving to move again soon. Sad

Drove past all the strikers out in Spanaway,. Felt kinda bad cause there was a brand new bottle of Sprite sitting right on the truck seat. Razz

Do they have any idea how long the strike will last?

You mean the Coke plant right there by Pull-a-Part? That is our Tacoma plant.

Management thinks it will take months to resolve, the union says days. Shrug

Well I hope it won't take long for them to work things out. Not sure if this is the right time to be doing that kinda thing though. How many people actually get to vote on whether to strike or not?

That'd be the one. Drove by there around dinner time. There were quite a few people out with signs.

Lack of porno in the breakroom.

Bought Pepsi products twice today. Bought Coke products twice today too, but that wasn't my fault.

Here's a heavy duty question: Can you buy Pepsi in the cafeteria at a Coke facility?

About the last time I drank Big Red, a cop tried to bust me for an open container. Laughing
