What won't fit down there? the universal?
But if a socket will fit, and if a long flexible tube will fit, then how does a universal not work??

put the socket on the nut/bolt, have the socket on a short extension the extension going to a universal going to another longer extension then of course the handle

i'd rather drive to meet peopel to help me instead of driving everywhere to try to find a swivel and and a universal

sometihng that long and flexible that connects to socket

This is without a doubt the most high-larious thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life.

A universal is what you need. Run it between a deep hex 10mm and a 6" 3/8 extension. I seem to remember removing the studs after the nuts came off made it easier to get the covers off. Been awhile since I've owned one of those motors, though. If you want to pull the studs, you'll need an inverse Torx socket.

Lol Bashy Bashy My wife was crying after reading all of the posts.

To the OP, spend 10 bucks on the correct tools at Schucks ( or what ever they are called nowadays) and fix the problem. If you get sidetracked, ask your father to come out and help you. This isnt rocket science.......

Man, I forgot about this crap. Thanks for reminding me, Dave.

Hey kid, hit me up Sunday. I got a land yacht to put back together tomorrow, but I should be free after that. Bring beer. Good beer.
