Okay I'm gonna go nuts on this hatch if I don't get some help lol I'm on my way up there right now from az and my friend wanted to put the t tops back on, so I popped the hatch then went to close it and it wouldn't latch... I'm in cali right now so its the WORST time for this to happen, oh and the highways here managed to rattle my driver side mirror loose...
In any case the PO broke the pulldown and decided to run a bolt into the track and proceed to slam the hatch, I was under the impression you can blow out the windows like this, but I've done it the same way I just keep my windows cracked, and yes I know you can shater the glass lol anyway I've noticed its out of alignment, the driver side has a bigger gap then the pass side, and its slid back so it sticks out off the back. I readjusted this thing once and it took me hours for bare minimum results which have now been screwed and I can't do this on the side of the road
Soooo if anybody is good with this can you chime in? Possibly come help me fix this thing for good? Up there obviously, and would intalling the proper pulldown be a good choice? Lol
TIA I'm going insane this move is making my car fall apart...literally _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

Does anyb ody know the correct procedure for installing a new hatch motor? I was thinking just open my hatch, latch it to the pin and then lower it "shut" mark the spots and bolting it in, does this make sense to anybody? Or am I just connecting dots that don't exist? Lol I got it to stay shut for now, definitely not water proof though, I just adjusted the motor up so the thing would catch for now
Also does the hatch itself have a piece that contacts the trim panels? I notice a little metal pad in the plastic that has wear marks and on the hatch itself there's a hole that sits directly above it same shape and size, ill take pics tomorrow and post them up if someone wants to tell me if I'm wrong or not lol

| Those metal contact pads are for the center brake light. |

That would make sense lol I just ran my own wires when I put on the 92 hatch, tapped the tail light and then routed them thru the spare tire area and up the body, oh well
As far as the motor thing does that process sound like a good starting point to get the motor in the right spot? _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory
