Are the V6 and V8 T5 tail housings the same?

Mine has a small dent and a crack is starting to form right by the output shaft seal, and I think that might be the source of my slow leak of trans fluid.

They are the same as long as you get one for the proper speedo hole. IE-Mechanical or Tone wheel. NWC and WC are the same in relation also.

I have the old V8 T5 sitting in the back yard. If you want the tailshaft it is yours if you take the whole thing. Let me know.

What was wrong with that thing again? I might take it off your hands? I'd like to tear down a t5 for learnings.
