My band is playing Saturday so I don't think I'm gonna have time for the trip. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

since john isn't going, i was wondering if anyone wanted to get an earlier start, say, 8am? Personally, i won't be staying for beerfest and will head back to tacoma once all of the parts are collected. _________________

Sorry, didn't see you
Where about on I5? There was some decent traffic, but not enough to slow the speed limit (plus a few mph) |

it was around 10 am somewhere around the 60 or so mile marker. It might not have even been you, but it did look like ya. Purple car? _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

Might have been, we left Tacoma at about 9am (mile post 32), but we should have been a bit farther south by then at 60+ mph. Did you notice a red Blazer behind, that would have been James. |

I didn't notice a blazer, but they don't jump out at me as much. It must have been around 50 not 60 cause I stopped at the 57. Anyway I wish I could have gone down but for the rest of the summer I will be working sat through Tuesday. Going down to eureka ca so I'll be missing out on most everything. Oh well. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

I really must say that Portland throws an excellent drunken hippie festival. I had an excellent time, despite the fact that James and I kind of wandered off from the group and got drunk.
Thanks to James for the ride, saving me a lot of diesel fuel, and thanks to Brandon for helping us get a few extra parts off of the GTA. Also a big thanks to Mike for offering up his home. Even though we didn't end up staying late, it's good to know we have members who will offer up their help like that.
Also, I would just like to say that John sucks. |

I miscounted my mile posts, our Tacoma entrance to I5 was at post #132. 60 miles and and hour later, we would have been about where you thought you saw me. You mus have been headed north to have stopped before #60 and counting up. |

Brew-Fest, a sea of people. Was like get your mug filled, then get back into a different line. If you were lucky (depending on how yo looked at it), you still had some left in your mug when you reached the next tap. Here's a pic taken by Rich, it's Schultzy and me in line up there somewhere.

No I was headed south, was just completly messed up is all. I saw you coming up behind me from a long ways back (I have an eye for 3rd gens you know) but you passed me pretty easily in my truck, and I couldn't catch up again. Anyway sorry I missed that one, sounds like a better time than driving all day. I left home at 8:45 got to Eureka at 8:15 PM. Long day, tomorrow Tillamook _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |
