I got the shop. Signed the papers today and paid the $$$ Now have to get all my crap moved by the first to avoid paying rent on my other storage.

Anyone free to help??? I know it's short notice and during the week, but it is what it is. The shop is in Vancouver off Evergreen and Grand. The power should be on tonight. Gonna see if I can get a truck load moved this evening. Tomorrow or the next day I'll move my cargo trailer over there. I'm pretty excited to have a place to work again. I'm also open for crewbie projects there. Just can't leave a car out at night. Had to get permission to keep my trailer there. The city is down on people for non running vehicles and the landlord is trying to lay low and keep under their radar.

So is Tacoma, I had to hurry up and get my red firebird running, even know it was in my driveway with current tabs.

I'd love to have your company, but not sure if it's worth the drive from Salem or not for you.

Quasi..........I'm hoping to be almost done by wens afternoon. I'll let you know here if it's taking us longer. So far it's me and one other person.

Got a load done tonight. Got a fridge and some other stuff moved. Power is on now.

You must have forgotten about my '91 getting hauled off by the city of Tacoma when we lived at Barb's mom's house (not the ritzy part of town). Glad I had already stripped it. Sad

Yeah it was great to get it.. It's not the "Ritz" but it's mine. Can't wait to do some crewibe projects there.

We got everything moved from my storage today. I can't believe how we got everything in a one car garage. Dang, I have too much crap!!!

And thanks John for giving up your afternoon to help us. I really appreciate it very much.

Crewbies helping crewbies................that's what it's all about.

Well we have been cleaning and sorting and are about half done. Still have to organize my tools boxes. Hard to believe how many tools I actually have. I've got 4 tool boxes full of tools. Some of it needs to go, some will stay. And got lots of stuff to sell. It's also interesting the stuff you find that you don't remember having, and stuff that is lost. My Vortec heads seem to be missing in action somehow Crying or Very sad. Found a complete LS! front brake setup a with one hub already machined, and a full set of spare ARP studs. Just need a bracket and machine one rotor down and Daisy will have big brakes.

Anyway I was thinking of having a shop warming party the weekend of the 24th. Was thinking putting some dead cow on the barby and other fixins. Kind of bring a pot luck dish thing and we supply the burgers and buns.

Anyone interested in coming down for something like this.??

Here is a pic of Zahara taking a break from cleaning and organizing. It's a lot of work believe me. Been at it two full days now and we are both beat. But we did get it so my pickup could live there and not take up room in our little driveway anymore.

Sounds good Dan. I think I am going to be in town that weekend. Would love to come by and hang out and check out the new shop.

Yeah I know I need to find them. Been looking pretty hard for them for 2 days now. I have a feeling they walked away at ex's. She knew they were my pride and joy and that I saved for a long time to get them. And a box broke open and I'm missing 3 of my rebuilt and flow matched injectors and two rod bearings also. Sucks big time.

Anyway I have lots of stuff to sell and if I have to replace the heads was thinking of this set. $649 seems cheap though for a set of aluminum heads. But the guy has great feedback and seems like a number of people have bought them and gave a good review of them. I paid $600 for my iron stock factory heads and if these are any good I'd rather go with an aluminum head if I can.

I have a fridge at the shop and power, no tv for guitar hero though Wink
Got parking for maybe 15 cars on the lot, and more on the street right beside the shop. Was thinking sunday so the other tenant in front wouldn't be there.

I'll be in town for the Brewers Fest. If I'm not there 24/7 quenching my thirst I might be able to make a swing by :O)

No I don't. I do have an old Forney stick welder though. The one where it has many different plug ins on the front to change the power settings.

Years ago I rented a mig for a week to do some body work, I'll see what it would cost to do that. Not sure even it they still rent them anymore.
