It was good to see a few Crewbies and thirdgens well represented over all. My crappy phone deleted most of the pics I took, but I was able to save a few.
turbo_jimi checking out the very green autocross car.
Our friend Tim of the Camaro Cruzers brought his awesome 350 TBI RS
We spotted this "gem" on the way out.

| Unless I am mistaken that green road course car used to be white, has a healthy sbc/t5, and is owned by a pretty knowledgeable guy who Al and I met at the Toys for Tots car show last winter. |

Good to see he's still got it. He seemed like a good guy when I met him.
Funny thing is, last year he mentioned wanting to paint it some crazy color to piss off his buddy who just painted his Hyundai (legit road course car, not a ricer) bright yellow. Looks like he actually went through with it. |

It was an awesome day for Camaro Firebird Club Northwest members.
Luke (91camaro_rs) won the Mr. Camaro award for all of his hard work and dedication to his Camaro!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of his plaque. Maybe you can post it, Luke.
And my little girl Cam won a Best in Class award, Best Stock Camaro 1982-1992!

I talked a little with the owner. He's from Vancouver , B.C. and travels any show in the NW. He was a bit bummed that the F-body club up there kind of dissolved away. I gave him our site's address so we may be seing him joining up. _________________ 92 Camaro

| I met the guy that owns the lime green car ( was white at the time) at PR this spring. He said it weighed 2700 with him in it. I believe him, it's gutted. It was running mid 14 second 1/4 times. |

A few more...
These are some of the special model cars from Chevrolet, among them are a couple of actual pace cars and the actual "Bumble-Bee" Camaro from the Transformer movie.
The noses of our group's cars on the right
I thought I heard this one belongs to the owner of the XXX, wasn't entered in the show.
Very smooth and sleek
Nice 302
LS1
Vette Power
The Pace Cars

I have an incredibly hard time believing the weight on that one. |

| How so? There is nothing in that car. Not even a dashboard. The only way he could ditch more weight would be to lose the GTA rims, and go to an S10 box. |

Aaron is right. Not only is it a light 82-84 car, it's also extremely gutted. I don't think he could get much lighter, but I believe his number. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

I would love see what my car felt like over 1,000lbs lighter!
BTW, I believe the GTA rims were the lightest factory thirdgen wheels available... something like 16lbs each.
What engine is in the lime green car?

How much does the dash weigh? None of the factory sheetmetal had been tampered with (door crash beams removed, b-pillars swiss cheesed, bumper bars were still intact and full steel). The interior of these cars doesn't weigh 1k lbs. Under 3k lbs I can believe. 2700 is a stretch. Especially with the full length comp eng. cut-holes-through-your-floor-SFCs.
I remember a thread on tgo with a guy completely getting rid of the crash beams in an attempt to even make 2800lbs. |

Yeah, Luke's car was looking great!
We also attended the annual Fircrest car show, but the only thirdgen I saw was a beautiful burgundy 'vert with 22" gold rims and custom badges that said, "BOOGIE" on them! I think I got pics... _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6
