| You would think it would, might be worht an e-mail to paypal to ask them. The problem is, if he files a complaint to get that money back. Paypal has gone pretty one sided on protecting purchasers. |

Not only can PayPal take money out of your account at any time, I believe he could also dispute the transaction with his credit card company, and then PayPal would come after you for the difference. I may be wrong on that however.
It is also worth noting that AFAIK PayPal cannot take money back once you have transfered it out via mailed check or transfer to checking account. I got bit for about $65 that way one time. Kid took the money and ran, PayPal decided in my favor, but then said they wouldn't comp what I lost. |

I had the same issue with a turbo years ago. Bought it, dude never sent and I only got like $150 back. (nowhere close to what I payed). _________________

I got stung a couple times. Once as a buyer and once as a seller. That was a few years ago. I haven't done PayPal since. It might be better now.
Whoever said they tend to favor the purchaser has got it right, at least in my limited experience with it. _________________

Funny thing is recently I got taken for $150 bucks for some Furd truck parts. Stupid kid left the money in his account though, so I got it all back. |
