|
|
My trusty Craftsman box has been replaced by a Snap-On rollaway, and I figured it would be better for someone to get some use out of it, rather than just sitting around and being a trip hazard in my shop.
This is an old box, but it is in good working condition. The drawer slides are the old-school type (no bearings) but they were regularly lubricated and work fine. The locking mechanism for the drawers works as well. There is currently no lock cylinder in the box, but I have the correct latch and everything, so all you would have to do is buy a cylinder at any hardware store (five or six bucks) and put the latch on it.
It even features the no-longer-made Crew sticker!!!
Craigslist price $50... Crewbie price $40. |

John, that's not a toolbox, it's a toss-all bin of deadly sharpness. |

And for a mere $40 you can rest assured you will never be cut again. |

Or... I can clean out my toolbox. Yeah, not real likely. |

Otherwise I'd definetly take it, my 4 drawer is a pain to take to the junk yard. _________________

You would not be taking this one to the junkyard either.
*two cents* Get a good metal flip-top box, and use it specifically for yard runs. Load it as needed per run. Been working for me for years. Saves you from needlessly losing tools, since it's easier to keep track of. |
