They are having their semi annual half price sale from this friday through monday. Great time to go pull parts and stash them (like t5's Wink) and then go back and get them for 1/2 off. I see people doing that every year. Saw one guy watch this guy take parts off and then stash them, he waited til he left and got them and re stashed them. Sneaky......one guy did the work and the other guy just watched, not much I could do about it though................the first guy was long gone.

They also have their online inventory tracker and price list online. You can see if there are any new cars there now. Looks like no new 3rd gens for the last week or so.

Doesn't look like it is.

Have you been in there lately to see what they have for 3rd or 4th gens?

When it was u-pull-it here, I went in every weekend just to look around, and I usually came out with something. Most of the employees knew my face, what I was usually looking for.

Since it changed hands, I dont go until I need several items. IMO, they lost money with me.

It is different since they were bought out. Prices are higher, inventory is different. But................it's all we have so have to deal with it.

I've been lucky finding some really good stuff lately, but I guess it's not really luck. It's persistence in going there over and over again to get what you want. I've walked in not really looking for anything and came out with a car full of stuff. Last time I went I was there to get a trim part I knew was there, and walked out of the row and there was an LT1 Camaro sitting there with rear disks on it. I had no plans on getting anything else but ended up with a great score that day.

Now I'm looking for a 9" ford carrier with 3.70's in it. The north portland yard has a lot of ford pickups there so..............gonna go there during the sale.
