its a little shop in olympia that pretty much specializes in corvette stuff, and i guess they are really good with fuel injection too. not 100% sure but thats what i have heard. they are the ones who host the swap meet at the puyallup fair on the 12-13 of Feb

well i ended up following him down there in case he had car issues, and we got to CHP and i knew what was wrong with the car before the mechanic there did and i was pretty much tellin the dude what to do...much $$$ later the car was fixed and we left there at about 1230.

all it needed was timing to be corrected and minimum air idle set, i could of done it in 10 minutes and it took the dude over 2 hours...

anyway we spent the rest of the day cruisin around and i showed him tunerpro and the auto prom stuff

here are some pics:

Tim has a Vortec 350 4 bolt main with a bigger cam, and its TBI, my car kept up with his no problem, even tho his motor is rated for alot more HP

Your bottom end is equal to or better than his. Give him a long straight run and he'd put the hurt on.

I like those pics cause it proves how much even a small amount of lowering totally improves these cars.

All you really need is a jack, a grinder, some chain, and some big metric wrenches. Also some PB Blaster helps. Wink

Yep, pretty spot on with what was wrong with my cars timing, but when you go custom- there's always bugs to work out. After a while you just want to make it work and can't see the easy fixes through the noise! The guys at CHP are always really friendly and I'm glad we went down there. All-in-all it was a great day to drive. Oh, and I agree, lower is the way to go. Yours looks great. Now that I'm running better I need to head to the track and find out what I've really got . . . do I smell burning rubber anyone?
